Unsound Dislocation: Kazan

Unsound Dislocation: Kazan is an immersive synaesthetic experiment in an industrial area near the city centre. More than twenty musicians, DJs and artists from Germany, Poland, Switzerland, the United States and Russia will perform across two stages. The visual programme draws on the legacy of the Prometheus Research Institute, a pioneer of Soviet media art.

Founded in Kraków, Unsound has since taken place in cities including Berlin, London, New York and Toronto.

The Smena Centre for Contemporary Culture organises the Kazan festival with support from the Goethe-Institut.
